Business Diagnostic & Performance Review (Business Health Check)
See what is holding the business back. Know what to address first.
When the same problems keep returning, a clearer diagnosis helps. Review the agreed areas of your business, connect the findings and give management a practical order of action for the next 90 days.

Who it is for
Your situation.
- Owners who need a clearer view of business performance
- Management teams facing operational friction or inconsistent execution
- Businesses preparing for growth, restructuring or a new strategic direction
Challenges we address
What needs to change.
- The leadership team sees different problems and has not agreed which matter most.
- Growth is exposing gaps in responsibilities, processes or management information.
- There are many improvement ideas, but no shared order of action.
Scope of support
Eight areas. A connected assessment.
1. Strategy
Review business direction, priorities and the connection between strategic objectives and day-to-day decisions.
2. Structure
Examine roles, responsibilities, reporting relationships and the way work is coordinated across the organisation.
3. People
Explore management capability, workforce needs, accountability and the skills required to deliver business priorities.
4. Processes
Identify delays, rework and unclear handovers across agreed workflows, including how systems and information support delivery.
5. Performance
Review the management measures and information used to understand business results, customer delivery and trends. This is not an audit or assurance engagement.
6. Governance
Examine decision rights, management routines, approval arrangements and the way significant issues are escalated.
7. Risk
Identify management-level gaps in controls, dependencies and ownership of relevant obligations. Specialist legal, regulatory or technical verification remains separate.
8. Growth readiness
Assess whether the current operating model, capacity and management arrangements can support the next stage of business development.
Practical outputs
What you receive.
The final scope, depth and delivery arrangements are agreed in your proposal.
Diagnostic report
A structured account of observations across the agreed review areas, supported by the information made available.
Priority findings
A focused view of the issues that merit attention, with their business implications and dependencies.
90-day action plan
A proposed sequence of improvement actions, responsible owners and practical milestones for management to agree.
Executive review
A facilitated discussion of the findings and recommended priorities. All deliverables are subject to the agreed engagement scope.
Our approach
A clear path from question to action.
Set the review focus
Agree the business questions, review areas, information requirements and people to involve.
Build the diagnostic
Review the supplied information and hold agreed discussions to connect symptoms with possible underlying causes.
Agree the first moves
Discuss the findings and shape a realistic 90-day action plan around your priorities and capacity.
An actionable view of the business, connected across functions.
Performance problems rarely sit neatly within one department. The diagnostic considers how direction, people, processes and information interact, helping management choose a manageable set of next steps.
Useful answers
Before we begin.
A little more clarity on the scope and the next step.
Is the Business Health Check an audit?
No. It is a management diagnostic based on the agreed scope and the information provided. It does not provide financial audit, legal, regulatory or certification assurance.
Will all eight areas be reviewed?
The eight areas form the diagnostic framework. The depth and coverage are agreed before the engagement, based on your business, available information and the questions you want answered.
Does the 90-day plan include implementation?
The plan sets out proposed actions for the following 90 days. Delivery of those actions is not automatically included; implementation support can be scoped separately if required.
